Highlights of price hike
NEW DELHI: Following are the highlights of the petroleum product price hikes and tax revisions announced by the government:
Rs 3 a litre hike in diesel price.
Rs 5 a litre hike in petrol price.
LPG prices hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder.
Customs duty on crude cut to nil.
Excise duty cut on diesel, petrol by Re 1 a litre.
Customs duty on other petro products cut to 5% against 10%.
Customs duty on petrol, HSD reduced to 2.5% from 7.5%.
